Have you suffered in trials for an extended time?
Perhaps you have experienced financial hardship? Or been burdened with illness? Or suffered a loss?
Consider 1 Peter 5:10, “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
As you are connected to our Lord through faith, know that our suffering will be only “for a little while.” They will end one day and through his grace, he will continue to perfect us, keep us firm in him during the onslaught of the evil one, and strengthen us to withstand future trials.
All trials will cease on the day of our home going. No more insults nor hardship of any kind. Then God will permanently perfect us and ground us in him forever.
All possible through the grace of God in Christ. Isn’t this a glorious prospect? God promises us that we will suffer in a temporary sense and we can definitely rely on any promise he gives.
Glory be to God!
